INSTRUCTIONAL INFOGRAPHIC DESIGN
HOW TO BINGE WATCH IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS
The goal of this assignment is to challenge students to develop their skills in creating instructional/infographic posters that effectively communicate information visually. In today's information age, the ability to present information visually in a clear and concise manner is becoming increasingly important, as people are bombarded with information from multiple sources on a daily basis.
To complete this assignment, students must choose a topic that requires step-by-step instructions or information that can be presented visually in a poster format. It is important that the topic chosen is interesting, unique, and fun.
Once a topic has been chosen, students must conduct research to gather the necessary information and inspiration for their design. They should take care to ensure that their sources are reliable and credible.
Next, students will need to sketch out ideas for their poster layout and composition. They should experiment with different layout options, typography styles, and color schemes to create a design that is visually compelling and effectively communicates the information.
Students will then create their poster design. They should choose appropriate imagery and iconography to enhance the message and appeal to the target audience. The design should use a clear hierarchy, typography, and layout to communicate the information effectively. It should use an appropriate color palette and composition principles to create an interesting and dynamic design.

HOW TO: BINGE WATCH
Here is my final design! At the top of the poster, you see a TV with my title in it, a clock to the left, and a person holding a remote to the TV. This is so it guides the viewer to the top of the poster, and then works their way down. The TV is supposed to resemble the Netflix Home Screen. The TV Shows on the bottom of the TV is the sequence of steps to take for the infographic. I made sure the background of my title was made to look like static from a TV, and the font was made to look like a Broadway font.
TV Shows/Movies
Each TV Show/Movie on the poster is to resemble a step in the process of the infographic from left to right. Under "Before You Begin" the TV Shows/Movies are "Grab Your Belongings", "So You Don't Have To Get Up Later", and "Then". The "Then" carries it on to the next part, which is "Start Scrolling", and so forth. After the graphics there is "When You Wake Up", and then "Find a New Show".
Graphics
The graphics of the person in the chair between the TV Shows/Movies are more steps. I put them there to insert a break in between the TV Shows/Movies so it wouldn't be too repetitive. These were created on Procreate, which I enjoyed making. Again, from left to right, the person is watching the show until midnight, and then they keep saying "Just one more" (as in episode) three times until it's already 3 am and they fell asleep in the chair. The next graphic on the right is them actually asleep in bed but dreaming about the show.
