Social Pastiche Poster

For this project, we were asked to choose a historical design movement to research and then present that research in a poster format. We will then take inspiration from the design movement you researched to create a poster on a current topic.

Here is my final poster! I decided to keep the pink color scheme because I wanted it to represent lungs. I made the smoke that was covering the letters become black and grey to give it more of a dull look. The "periods" at the end of the sentence of "Before it Kills You" are meant to turn into little chemicals that are going into your throat when you vape. Originally the hand holding the vape wasn't there, but it felt blank to me so I decided to add that touch of detail. I am really happy with how this project turned out and I'm glad I experimented with creating a new font!
