BEAUTY STANDARDS
The concept of my capstone visually displays the unrealistic beauty standards society enforces for women. I designed the layout to resemble a beauty store, containing a product shelf, a vanity, and a video that you would typically see behind checkout counters.

THE VIDEO
Most big corporate beauty stores have a largely displayed video behind the checkout counter. I wanted my video to resemble myself feeling insecure about the different features of my body, such as my hair, lips, and stomach. I added an animated overlay to the top of the video that crosses out the word purchase and writes insecurities beneath it to get my message across most effectively.
